I started out looking after just dogs but, my repertoire has expanded; I’ve looked after dogs, cats, hens, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and even a grumpy tortoise!
Pricing is per calendar day (24 hours) e.g. 9.00am Monday to 9.00am Tuesday.
It is REALLY important to provide times and correct dates and times for the bookings, especially when you’re travelling abroad.
This is to avoid clashes with other bookings and to give me time to prepare for the next client.
- My insurance covers Public Liability, Home Boarding, Pet Sitting, Transport and Dog Walks
- For extra peace of mind, I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate 001816927641 – this is for working with children and adults with Special Educational Needs – but it does prove that all the checks into my background are clear!

Boarding – £70 per 24 hours
My house is the home-away-from-home, ‘doggy holiday’ for your pet pooch.
I only ever board one client’s pets at a time – NEVER multiple households – unless the dogs have a pre-established friendship AND with agreement from all owners.
As this is my sole business, your dogs will get exclusive, loving, VIP treatment because my role is to look after them whilst they are with me.
If you need to have your dogs collected and dropped-off back home, this can be arranged (see rates below).
Pet & House Sitting – £70 per 24 hours
Your house, where your pets are comfortable and familiar is where I come to look after them.
Having a pet-sitter means your beloved pets are in their own, familiar environment, which causes them far less stress and anxiety than going to kennels.
Because I’m at your house I provide a caring, reassuring presence for your pets and, I help to maintain the safety and security of your home by keeping the ‘lived-in’ look in your absence.
To reduce the impact on your home I bring my all own linens and food. I just require a bed and some space in your fridge and freezer 🙂
When you get home, your plants will have been watered, your parcels and post received and stored, your bins emptied and there will be no forgotten perishables going mouldy in your fridge!
Mileage/Transport: £0.30p/mile
Boarding at the VIP Dog B&B
Collection of your pets and drop-offs back at your home can be arranged at £10 plus the mileage rate: £0.30p per mile for the entire round trip.
Pet/House Sitting
Journeys to and from your property from the ST6 area of Stoke-on-Trent: £0.30p per mile.
Pet-Related Journeys
- Any pet-related travel (familiarisation visits, vets, pet provisions etc.) is subject to the mileage rates: £0.30p per mile.
In accordance with the DEFRA Guidelines, all dogs will be walked in their locale for at least 20 minutes, twice a day – I usually take them out for much longer!
- If you would like your dog to be driven to different destinations for a change of scenery, smells 🙂 and socialising, trips must be agreed in advance and will be subject to the mileage rate: £0.30p per mile

I grew up with cats and dogs, my sister and I rescued and reared several birds, my son’s first pets were rats (absolutely adorable!) and I dream of having chickens, goats and a big Irish Wolfhound when I retire!
