Creative Projects

Here are a few examples of how I design, write, and build things to help people. Yes, I do love those vintage illustrations!

VIVA UKULELE

When I took over a local ukulele class I wanted to rebrand it and make it more vibrant and sociable – Viva Ukulele was born. I made full use of Mailchimp to completely change how the teaching tools, song sheets, and reminders were distributed and to make Viva Ukulele more engaging and accessible to the members.

GREAT BIG UKULELE JAM

Viva Ukulele was asked to host a fundraiser for a new baby unit at the local hospital. To expand it beyond our own group members I created an email campaign targeting the local ukulele groups.

Again, utilising old copyright free images and a sense of fun, the memes went out with reminders about the event which was a great success for the charity and, enabled other local groups to meet one another.

FAVOURS FOR FRIENDS

I was asked to do CVs that would stand out.

A friend was retiring but wanted to do some part-time work: “no more managing Stephanie, I just want to stack shelves or serve food…and abuse the staff discount!” It worked, she got inundated with offers from supermarkets and restaurants, but ultimately found her happy-place in a beautiful, countryside tea room.
