I started out looking after just dogs but, my repertoire has expanded; I’ve looked after dogs, cats, hens, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and even a grumpy tortoise!
ANIMALS AND ME
I grew up with cats and dogs, my sister and I rescued and reared several birds, my son’s first pets were rats (absolutely adorable!) and I dream of having chickens, goats and a big Irish Wolfhound when I retire!

Stephanie is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our furry and not so furry troop! Right from the start when we first met her, we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets, but also professional and organised, ensuring she has full information on all aspects of our pet care and also home.
When we come home after our holidays away our pets were relaxed and happy and our home is clean and cared for.

Stephanie has gone beyond her duties, even taking my parents to A&E when a medical emergency occurred during my holiday.

My three dogs absolutely adore Stephanie. They were ALL so calm and relaxed when we got back from our holiday – and that’s a big deal because one of them is a rescue who has anxiety issues. I highly recommend VIP Dog, my dog Patch stayed there it was like a home from home for him, he has never been in kennels so wanted somewhere where he would be comfortable and he definitely made himself at home

Stephanie is a natural with our Labrador – Lady. She is extremely flexible, calm and gentle and has had Lady both at her home and house-sat for us in our home looking after the dog, chicken and cat!

I’ve known Stephanie a long time so I already knew I could trust her with my little Westie, Jack. My ex-partner was very harsh with Jack so he was VERY timid when he went to stay with Stephanie but, when I returned after two weeks, he was a lot more confident and really settled.
